Fairhaven property sales span $280,000 to $2.9 million, more than half of deeds undisclosed
Fairhaven recorded 35 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, according to Bristol County (New Bedford District) Registry of Deeds records. Sixteen deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $280,000 to $2,945,000, with a median of $535,715. The period's top sale was 1 Smugglers Rd, sold for $2,945,000 by Keith Decker to David P. Schenkein as trustee, the only transaction above $1 million. Main Street saw the most activity, with five recorded transfers. More than half the month's deeds, 19 of 35, carried no disclosed price, many involving transfers between individuals and family trusts bearing the same name.
