Fairhaven property sales span $205,000 starter homes to $2.9 million waterfront estate
Fairhaven recorded 34 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, with 20 carrying a posted sale price ranging from $205,000 to $2,945,000 and a median of $441,500. The month's top sale was 1 Smugglers Rd at $2,945,000, sold by Keith Decker to David P. Schenkein as trustee. Three Weeden Road and Floral Drive parcels sold the same day to the Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts Inc. for $205,000 each. Most of the period's price-pending transfers were same-name family or trust transfers rather than open-market sales awaiting data, based on the recorded seller and buyer names.
