Fairhaven sees 44 property transfers in July, led by matched $1,035,000 land sales

Fairhaven recorded 44 property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, with 25 disclosing a sale price ranging from $175,000 to $1,035,000 and a median of $500,000. The month's top sale was a matched set: three parcels -- Berkley Drive, Nulands Neck and Stoney Cove -- each sold for $1,035,000 to the Buzzards Bay Coalition on the same day, with a fourth nearby parcel selling for $545,000 to the same buyer. Sconticut Neck Road, Alden Road and Huttleston Avenue each saw three transfers. Nearly half of all recorded transfers listed no price, many appearing to be trust or intra-family transactions rather than open-market sales.
